What happened to me would be like riding into the wall at turn three without turning or braking at 80 mph. (40+40 hit)

Paul, I believe a head-on collision involving two vehicles with the same mass and velocity would be as severe as one of those vehicles colliding with an immovable object. The severity of the impact does not "add up" because the kenitic energy is released at the same rate in either instace. But of course when it's bike vs. car, the biker is the one releasing their energy quickest. In that case, hitting a wall would actually be easier. So to speak.

I have no idea what you're trying to say, but a bike going 40mph hitting a car going 40mph going in the opposite direction is like hitting a parked car at 80... If that's what you're saying then ok.

OK, I'm sure it's not a direct proportion, but it involved about ten times the force of any crash I've experienced on the track where objects are moving in the same direction, or are fixed.

Plainly now, the force of impact:

between 2 of the same-type vehicles, traveling at the same speed, colliding head-on

EQUALS

the force of 1 of those vehicles hitting a "parked car."

Paul's impact with a bigass car is WORSE than hitting a wall, because the car is more bigger.
