So, I ordered some LED license plate lights when I removed the rear fender on the new Gixxah... I ordered white LEDS and they shipped me blue LEDS... of course I didn't notice until they were installed. Sooooooo.....
anyone know if plate lights need to be white and if so, is the fuzz likely to fuck with me just cuz they're blue?

i've seen some people who have blue for plate lights and IMO your better off running nothing at all and just saying that the light blew out. Blue lights anywhere on a moving vehicle is a big no-no for the most part, and to me isn't worth the possible fine/troubles.

Baah... As I suspected.

Just called the place I bought them from and they claim they don't come in white.... Oh well, I think I can replace the LEDs with some white ones from RadioShack easily enough... For the $18.99 they cost it's not worth thehassle of sending them back.
The thing that attracted me to these was that they're housed in the plate bolts... pretty slick (if they weren't blue):

Not sure what brand of lights you recieved but those look to be the Kuryakyn plate light bolts, which are also available in white. Most dealers will keep them instock and they retail for only 20bux or so. Not sure of your exact location but if you come by my job i can give you a 10% discount on them and we always keep them instock. And in case you don't know where i work its @ Riverside Motorsports in Somerville, MA.
