wow, you guys are quick. much thanks.
So if one of my directionals are junk, what should I do?
harass them to order a replacement, order someone else's LED and try to make it fit, or order a new mototech undertail kit?

If you can just, replace the LED's. No need to buy a whole new kit

I'm sure other people have experienced the same problem

not that easy bill, it can't be replaced with just any led light it is a circuit board.. I've often though about ordering extras for mine while I can still find them, just in case down the road.. I also wish I never wasted the money on something that can get me killed because it is impossible to see in the day, and not much better at night..

when i went to solder the power wire back ont he board, i must have touched the wire to the wrong part on the board and zipped it. it wont light up anymore.
How can I replace the LED's if they dont return anyone's calls?
I really appreciate all the quick reponses guys. Gixxer.com didnt give me any feedback on this question.

Yea Its a Mototek alright. They are fine to deal with. I ordered 2 led strips to replace both blinkers along with the resistors to correct the blinking speed for like 30 bucks.

You serious? That's great news! One of my 1157 LED bulbs was flickering so I just replaced them with better ones tonight too.
Did you order them reciently & did you have any problems?

You can do it right on the website, I wasn't exactly sure just whitch ones I needed so I called while I was on their site and the guy just told me the part numbers as I selected each item. It took all of about 3 minutes. Oh this was this spring sometime. Early April maybe?

I just got a hold of Mototeck and I'm in the process of getting 2 new flashers with resistors. He said like $20 for them.

well i didnt get anything yet. they called me today. the replacement LEd flasher and resistor need new pictures to be shown on the website. So they told me to order any flasher that was $9.99, and to write in the comments that I'm actually ordering the LED resistors. $15 for shipping too. Waiting to get my notification from PayPal to submit payment, so they can ship it.

FYI, it was a mototech undertail. I installed my replacement LED's with resistors yesterday. Resistors slow it down a little bit, but not much. Thanks for everyone's help.

Just add one normal bulb and hide it somewhere under your cowl on each side... that''ll fix it.
