I want to get into doing some long-distance touring, so I think my next bike's going to be a Suzuki V-Strom 650. Comfortable, and the 650's powerful enough to be fun while still getting almost 60mpg.

Now I just can't decide if I should pull the trigger this fall and try to get a good deal on a leftover '07, or wait till next spring.

Probably an SV650 seeing as how many race classes you can enter it in and how much after market support there is for it. After laying my bike down though I'm thinking of maybe just buying an SV650 track bike since it's no fun waiting for parts for your street bike or having your street bike all rashed up.
