Newb here looking to plan a ride

I am new to motorcycles and have been riding about 3 months but am looking to go on or set up a ride. Never been on one before and am not ready to go on a fast twisty ride through the mountains. Looking for some riders from the south shore ( I am in seekonk,ma) who are interested in setting up a ride down this end of the state for a nice day of cruising. Any interested hit me up.

You should sign up for a track day bro! Best way to get comfortable on a bike without all the road distractions/hazards.

As in: 2 thumbs up!

Or alternatively, it could mean - a passenger and a rider on the same bike.

Welcome Newb. I'm in Providence. I work in Somerset, Swansea, Dighton area all the time. If you want to ride sometime just send me a pm. I think you should go on the Newport ride. Unfortuantly I wouldn't be there, but there will be a great group of guys, and girls. You'll have fun with these guys, just don't take anything they say seriously. Especially from Smooth r6, he shaves his chest and nuts. Not to metion hes heterophobic.

Have you done a MSF course? If not call Bob at 781-974-2474 and he'll take care of you.
If you already have then take Smooth R6's advice and sign up for a trackday. Chances are you won't stop at just one.
Also, make sure you read Group Ride Rules thread.
Good luck and be safe.
Chris

Yea it is. Yea I know i know 600 first bike. I'm not going to be dumb and say I feel comfortable and I can handle the power of the bike. My buddy was getting rid of it when I was looking for a bike and sold it to me. I am getting more comfortable on the bike everytime I get on it. And the power of the bike is more then I think I will need. THe bike is damn quick and powerful. I wear my gear and don't ride like an idiot. So hopefully all will work out. I took the MSF course which helped big time.

I'm up in the northshore area so i'm a bit of a ride from you. Good luck with the new bike, and ride safe. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should
