Anyone doing Penguin on Friday? My plan is to do Penguin, and possibly hang around for the rookie race on Saturday. I ran Penguin last August, but never had the chance to run the Saturday race. I finally have a bike set up for that.

Hey Scott, I should be there... (I was on the k7GSXR a few weeks back at MotoMkt).
If I can get the bike set up in time, that is. Got the supermoto wheels today and discovered that the rear tire won't fit between the swingarm... Just barely too big. Sunsabitches. Hopefully I'm not screwed... gonna order the next size down and fucking pray that it fits. I'm out of time. Maaaan, I've spent too much$$$ and busted too much ass to not go now.

Anybody need a brand new Pilot Power Race 160/60/17?

I just bought a 150 Pilot race H2 from bettencourts in west bridgewater, 99 bucks. Im pretty sure he said he had another one if you need it.

Awesome. Thanks, Manny. H2 is just an older model, right? Does anyone know how the profiles of the H2 and PP race compare? At this stage in the game I would definitely like to conserve some cash if possible.

Hey Mike...Got the 1098 on Friday. Manny and I rode up (I was on the Brutale) to BCM in Laconia. Traded the Brutale plus some cash and rode out with a 1098. We then put 200 miles on around the back roads. Great day.

Glad you are going Friday. The weather looks good. Manny is up at TTD today, and almost didn't make it. Found a flat on his motard yesterday...not good. He got it fixed just in time, so he's good to go. You riding that beast on Friday?

I ran it today, and it was perfect for it as temps were in the mid 80's and the sun was hot!

I ran a PP front along with it and the combo worked well for me.

Im probably out for friday, but itll be a game time decision.

Looks like I'm going to run it on Friday/Sat. I can actually just barely make it fit on the KTM and I really don't have the loot to be buying a Twix let alone another tire.

Glad to hear that you are going to be able to make it work. Actually more pleased that you can get it to work then I would be if you gave me a good deal on it.

To be eligible you have to successfully (don't crash or get black flagged) run two open practices prior to the rookie race. Open practices start sometime b/w 1 and 2 on Fridays, so if you leave at 2 that probably only gives you one session.

I don't know if the practices on Sat morning prior to the rookie race count towards that "2".
