I talk to a Trooper friend who was dispatch to the accident.the details were not good.It seems they let Bikenight in Lowell in a large pack when one took off ahead of everyone.one other rider trying to play catch hit one as he entered the slow lane, impact was at about 120MPh.he side it was ugly lower legs were gone at the accident scene.

Never been to bike nite and never want to go for exactly this reason.

Someone else posted earlier that a group went up 93 riding like maniacs
and he dropped back because he wanted no part of it.

Most groups that have more than a half dozen riders tend to kind of
fall apart when it comes to discipline.

Personally, I would rather ride alone and wreck alone (horrifying as that may
be!) than expose myself to these situations.

That poor SOB must of been ripped right in half! RIP

495 Motorcycle Accident last night

Here is the deal guys .... my friend Steve was the one who lived.... He got med flighted to the hospital but has been released with a broken leg a lot of scrapes and prety bad rash all over. I have not actually talked to him yet in person I only spoke with his mother.. she kept it breif... as I unserstand it they were riding staggered on the highway heading home from Bike Night and went to pass an 18 wheeler when they came around there was a car in the lane already and one of them let off the throttle and the other colided... I don't know who was leading at the time... His mom kept it breif because the family of the rider who didn't make it was at their house trying to console setve and let him know that they don't blame him for what happened... I guess he isn't really himself right now...

and to answer the question on the bikes one was an r6 and the other was a zx750... the paper wrote it as a 50...

that's all I know... He works for me and was supposed to be going back to school next week... he was enrolled to go to schol as a BMW mechanic...
