So for years I have had to hear the shit storm from my mother about the bike. In one ear out the other. But have it known she hates the whole thing, the whole idea, and especially the track.

Dad on the other hand, never says a word. He would never since Mom says more than enough. But often I find him just looking, and looking. Secretly I think he wishes.....

Dad is 67 never ridden and just retired 2 weeks ago.

So my son calls me at work today, "guess what, Papa got a scooter!"

Not so @ my house Dad was pissed! When I got my 1st bitched & bitched.
Mom on the other hand has been on every bike I ever owned, & she has rode her self till she wheelied my yamy in the bushs! Two up for there on. The Oldman rode for years one of his budys got killed so he stopped! I can still here my uncle saying if I got to die, I might as well die of something I like.

its the same at my house...my mom hates the idea and freaks out everytime something happens

my dad used to ride...the only complaint he has is that i'm not riding a bimmer

Both my parents forbade me to get a motorcycle growing up. Then my wife encouraged me to do it at 30 at which point my father did an about face and bought a bike a year later so we could ride together, he said that he didn't want me to have all the fun!
