Power Commander - great deal


Just stumbled upon this. I was about to buy one from a guy on apriliaforum... he had a new unit for sale for 265 + shipping... i offered him 250 shipped... he counter offered w/ 270 shipped (shipping is 8 bucks... gee, thanks for taking 3 bucks off )

but... I just found this

think i got it.... from the PC website:

You don't want an EX. To comply with California emissions, it locks out low RPM tuning. (It may also block low throttle opening adjustments across the board, I'm not 100% on that though.)

EDIT: For shits & giggles I plugged in "CCS" in the Promotion Code... i got another 12 & 1/2 bucks off

they will give u a custom map based on what you say, and change send u a new map after every mod u make. they got my zx-12r running at 186HP

Power Commander - great deal


If you're going to get a Power Commander, do yourself a favor and find a local DynoJet tuning center. Getting your machine dialed in on the dyno will beat a packaged map, even if it's been 'tweaked' for your setup every time. Even between two identical bikes, maps will differ slightly, add in varitions in tolerances, riding style, etc and pre-packaged maps are about as good as 'suggested jetting,' close but not perfect.

Note - Many shops will do package deals on PC3's and a full map.
