The pilots are def. a good tire. i had them on my '99R1, shouldv'e dropped the front though, she didn't want to finish a turn for shit. The new Metzeler M1's are suppesed to be real good also.....

M1s are just like Pilot Sports that heat up a little quicker from what my buddies tell me. I am making the switch soon myself.

I didn't like the M1's at all...their profile is too much like the 207GP, tall and narrow. I don't have stock geometry on my TL, so that's probably why. I'm stickin' with Dunlops.

Whats wrong with tall and narrow? Sounds like quick turn-in to me!

If you are going to go with the Pilots I have a brand new front at my house that I was going to install on my RSV but never did. Its a 120/70 I think or it could be a 65.. I will check when I get home Friday.. Let me know

I set my TL up to turn in THAT fast with Dunlop 207ZR's...so any additional turn-in advantage is flat out uncomfortable to ride.
