INCREDIBLE low-side save... haven't seen this one before. In that particular case... I doubt he could still control the throttle, but that would be ideal to at least keep some throttle on. |

INCREDIBLE low-side save... haven't seen this one before.i don't think hes able to recover at all if he can't keep the speed up. |

INCREDIBLE low-side save... haven't seen this one before.Speedy dry is good, but not good enough to make a GP bike stick at full lean, full pace... I had an experience like that once in T2. I think I mentioned it in the other thread (lean). No speedy dry, I just got tight and both ends let go before the bike even turned. my knee, ass, and elbow were sliding and both wheels came up off the pavement and I slid straight towards the wall (not as crazy long as Luthi slid there though). The corner workers were already running to wrds the track to pick me up. There was a 700 purse if I could just bring it home, so I forced the wheels back down with my outside leg and the bike stood up. I braked hard and got it turned just before hitting the wall. I got my 700 bucks! btw, I was not on the gas. I doubt that Luthi had opened the throttle in that vid either. |

INCREDIBLE low-side save... haven't seen this one before. That was a pretty sick save! Valentino Rossi actually saved one a little worse than that back in 2000 (his 500GP rookie season) when he was riding the Nastro Azzurro NSR500. He tucked the front going through a right hander at full lean (or rather a little past full lean). He was dragging his elbow, knee, thigh... pretty much everything and still saved it. |
