Hey guys, I was organizing a group buy for reflective rim striping tape for the svrider.com forum I'm a member on. I was having a hard time finding striping that matches the 07 Suzuki SV650 dark red metallic, so I contacted Tony at Planet Superbike and asked if he could come up with a group buy, and he said he would be happy to do that, and would also include all other types of rim striping tape at a discounted group rate.

They have a bunch of different types, including regular, reflective, super fluorescent, and custom designs with personalized text, all pre-cut with spares to make it much easier to apply.


If rim-striping is not your thing, fine, just ignore this and go about your business. I personally like the fact that it is RIDICULOUSLY ATTENTION-GRABBING at night, and anything that makes me more visible (read: makes others less inclined to run the f*** into me) and doesn't detract from my bike is good in my book.

Sounds Good, I will take a set as a safety device, cause I hate getting hit by them cars

I am torn Between the ones that say "Gangsta" Or "PimP", Its hard for me to make a choice because sometimes I feel Gangsta and other times I feel PimP. Maybe I will need another set of rims?

well obviously just get 2 sets and do one side of your bike "PIMP" and have the other side say "GANGSTAAAAAA"

then i guess you just have to pick which side of the street you want to know you're a pimp and ride accordingly? decisions decisions....
