Help catch some thieves

Someone broke into a buddy's shed and stole his quad, dirt bike and go cart.

Let's make sure they get caught.

Here's the info....

Reason # 253 why I have high quality locks and carriage bolts on damn-near everything concerning toy-storage.

Good luck and I hope these douche bags slip up just enough to get busted or beat up or both...

Thanks Degs,

On a positive note,

Talked with my buddy yesterday, all of his stuff has been recovered including gas remote cars and some other toys.

It seems that someone recognized another bike that was in the back of a pickup truck. He followed them to thier house and when they refused to talk to him him broke out the baseball bat and proceded to blow out the windows of the truck that it was in. The the father of the kid (18 yr old) came out to find out what was going on. He told the father that that bike was his and had been stolen and he wanted to know where his other one was. The kid said he didn't have any other bikes. The guy noticed a shed and got the father to let him see in it, there just happened to be four other bikes in there but none of them where his other one. Now the guy started pushing the issue and the kid ended up rolling on a couple of his friend.

Now with the police involved they went to the other friend and recovered in the area of twenty other bikes plus stolen electronics. The kids have all been arrested my bud went and recovered all of his missing items.

out of curiosity, does the guy that busted all the truck windows have to pay for them or deal with any shit from police? the kid definitely got lucky that the guy only took the bat to the windows.

Help catch some thieves

A little off topic, but heres a good one.

BTW congrats on getting everything back and your buddy is lucky he is not getting charged with anything!

Last year there were some break-ins in my neighborhood. So one of my neighbors one night catches some kids trying to get into his car in his garage, because he left the door open. so he locks the doors and closes the garage and now he has 3 kids locked in his garage waiting for the cops to get there.

cops get there find out that these are the kids that have been breaking into all the houses around and arrest them, but they also arrest my neighbor for locking these kids in his garage. He didn't hit them or nothing he just locked them in, in fact the kids did a considerable amount of damage trying to get out.

Long story short He got a summons to court for "attempted kidnapping" the kids got let go no findings, my neighbor paid a fine, lawyer costs, and probation to keep his ass out of jail, all because he caught the kids that caused so much property damage and loss in the neighborhood.

So much for the justice system!

Too bad he didn't have a remote start on the car...problem solved.

I would have called it a "citizens arrest" when I called the cops....
