no cool action shots but this is what my elbow looked like 10 minutes after a disagreement with my NSR in turn 10.

Good helmets are worth every penny

Short gloves suck

Plastic armor in textile sucks

Jeans aren't the best idea

Work boot work good enough

Best phone I have ever owned (sanyo mm5500) It was in my lower cargo pocket. It only cracked the screen and I have lost it into a bucket of watter and it still works more than a year after crashing it

O yeah, and the bike

I know it wasn't that bad of a crash and my rash was minimal, but it was going 50-60mph and then slid a good 1/8th mile down the highway, hell I slide long enough to think hey I wounder how much protection is on my right side? Let me roll onto my left for a bit

You would be amazed at how fast people can get their bikes up off the ground when they know I am coming up behind them with the camera. There are many more that I missed because I wasn't fast enough to get the camera in focus.

I'm sure there are more than a few pics of me on the ground out there somewhere.

I just looked at all my stored riding pictures and I didn't find any of crashes...I'm glad some of you no know the trails at Pachaug so I don't have to lead anymore and end up taking the picture beating

I did find one of a very pissed off rider on the first ride of a new bike...

i wish i had a series of pictures or a video of my crash in T8, my buddy was watching from the T10 gate looking up in T9 and he said all he saw was my bike randomly flipping end over end after it hit the tirewall and landed in T9

turn 8, that seems like an odd, and terrifying place to crash.

That is without a doubt the scariest and most dangerous place to crash at loudon. There is a good reason most people are slow through that section!!! There's huge speed to be found there, but I'd approach it in baby steps.

As you crest the hill the tack camber lessens, especially out wide, and people lose the rear.

One of our suspension gurus made bits and peices out of a DEMO triumph there.

yeaaaa took a lot of work and $$ to get the bike back to normal....i lost my front as i crested the hill. paul is definitely right, a TON of time can be made up there but you can pay for it big time if you f it up.

after that i got in the habit of letting off just a hair as I crest the hill to prevent that from happening. Its still my fastest and favorite part of the track though.

instead of letting off at the crest, you can climb up on the front end. I get so far forward there that I drag the top of my knee instead of the side like the rest of the turns. I need two pucks on the right...

If you've ever been passed by Jeff or Scott up there, you'll know the results are astonishing. most people are feathering the throttle from 6 all the way though 8. Not fast or consistent!
