Ohlins

Hey, all.
Thinking about an upgrade to an Ohlins shock for the trusty Daytona this winter. Been checking around and the unit for my bike usually runs around $780-$800.
Question is, is there any Northeast dealers who are in the same Ballpark? I like to support my local-ish, area businesses if I can but not if I'm gonna get butt-raped .
For Example, Street-n-Comp (local to me) wants $1150 for the same unit. That's just a little out of line but, hey, all their prices are like that.
Cheers, Lee S.

Are you sure that they weren't quoting you the tripple adjustable shock? I have priced out stuff from Street N Comp and they were always at least close...

Hey Gerard nice to see you putting in your 2 cents, but you are right. You should ask what Ohlin's they priced out for you.
I'm the same way I would like to buy from local's also, but if they can't match the price they are shit out of luck. I don't know what bike you ride but you can find used shocks on the following web pages:
amasuperbike.com
roadracingworld.com
e-bay
motorush.com
lrrs.com

Ooops, sorry, sticky finger, there. I meant $1050 which is the suggested MSRP for my shock. Hard Racing lists the same but sells for 8 bills, same as EMA. I'm looking for a 46HR-CLS for a 99 Triumph Daytona. Not exactly your high volume sportbike so there's not many around.
Any oher dealers close?
Cheers, Lee S.
