I Have A Problem...

I don't know how to control it any more. Sometimes the urge is so overwhelming, I SCHEME to score. Today, I folded. I caved, I gave in. I hear some say once you've gotten the bug, there's no real way to get ridda the taste. It was almost 20 years for me, I thought I was free. I thought I had it licked. Sure, there were times when I talked openly about it. I've even done it casually and recreationally recently, but it's taken me again - and this time by the ballz. It started as innocently as it always does, about a year ago. Little here, little there 'til you crave it again. I told myself last year that it served some purpose, then used that as an excuse to do it again. And again. When that wasn't cutting it anymore, I moved on to something a little more 'cutting edge'. This past week, it's taken over. The desire for that big score was driving me. And today I did it. I set foot in a place I rarely see and scored what I never thought I'd score again. I folded...

Nice Rappy And it's got the blue arms...coolness
Get a PC3 USB and a slip-on with a quiet core and you'll feel like you doubled it's power and torque...impressive motor.
Also keep an eye on ebay for a set of YFZ 450 front shocks, trust me, you'll like the difference.

I don't have an old one now! They're all '07's! I'd NEVER buy the Thunderload. My 400 4x4 has done everything I bought it for and more. I don't think I'd go higher than a 400 or 500 for a ute-quad. The prices once you get above that get downright silly and you're not really gaining much in my eyes. Unless you get a smokin' deal on a larger one, save your money for attachments and/or an extended warranty. If you'll be using a ute-quad for trail fun too, the extra power & tourque of the bigg'ns will be offsett by the added weight of the extra cylinder, higher capacities, beefier larger frame, etc. Those big bastards are a bitch on the trails. Even my 400 is a bit on the tankish side for trail riding. Which is why I got the Rappy 660 this summer in the first place. Now this...

have you ridden the big bores? i had a honda 350 4x4 ute, it sucked ass. went about 35, 40 off a cliff with a good tail wind. i got my 650 v-twin prairie and was scraping the back rack riding wheelies. thats with 26 in' mud lights, plow frame, lift kit installed, winch in the front ect.. i rode it like a sport quad. AC and polaris utes do seem pure work.

the reason i like them over pure sport quads is versatility. my z-400 was taking a beating on the rocky N.E trails and i was always getting stuck in deep snow. the prairie was fun no matter what i did with it. whatever though you have the best of both worlds, enjoy!

I've ridden (summa) the bigger ones - a Prairie included, and came away unimpressed with anything other than speed & speed alone. I felt they were big & clumsy. My 400 will do about 50 in 2WD, 40-45 in 4WD, but it'll only wheelie going up hill. I'm running extra-lug Mud Lites on it, and like you have a winch & plow. And I didn't have a problem keeping up with the sporty 400's I was riding with. Yeah - it took more work, but I could hang with 'em all day. I do more shit utility-wise with my 400 than most do with ANY ute-quad, big or small. I hear ya with all that versatility talk though. For my money though, it just didn't seem worth it to make that jump, price-wise to the big dogs...

EDIT: Either way, we'll hafta hook up when you finally get yours!
