Re: woodcraft rearsets

I think for the street its all about comfort. Woodcraft has a good product, but if there not adjustbale and you dont like them, 45 bucks can spent elsewhere. I think its a good move if you feel the RC ones are good.

might just take you up on that test ride when it gets warmer. are you running 520s or the stock 530? most of the kits i looked at its cheaper for the 520 for some reason. i always thought 520s were for racing

Re: woodcraft rearsets

i have DID 520 with Vortex 42 and AFAM 15

i think i bought a complete AFAM/DID 520 15/41 kit for like $140... didnt like it that much so im trying the 42. I only have about 500 miles on the 42 so im not fully settled on getting a 43 yet

Shouldnt lug around much with the 15/42 gearing. Ive been very happy with it. Also go with the 520 chain. If you take care of it it should last you a while. Ill be starting my 3rd season with my current chain.

We will have to all get together and go for a ride with the 51s

Re: woodcraft rearsets

been looking forward to a ride with the 51's. i dont think ive even been on a ride with more than one...

it doesnt really 'lug' but i rarely ever commute on the highway, and who doesnt like a little more oomph around town

we'll see what happens this season. any of you 51 guys have a 43 laying around i could 'test' ?
