Re: Brake control box for a trailerAgree with Pete... I have the latest Prodigy model and it works great. My Honda Ridgeline came mostly "tow ready", so it was a simple plug and play. Hardest part of the whole installation was pulling down the wire that Honda leaves for you under the dash. They attached the stupid thing way up high like you'll conveniently have the dashboard apart when you go to use it. Anyway, back to the point... I've been very happy with Prodigy controllers. This is the one I have: Tekonsha Prodigy |

Re: Brake control box for a trailerI have a Prodigy also. Sick controller - super smooth. Def worth the extra money. Plan ahead and make it easy to remove so you can take it with you when you sell the truck. What do you have for a truck? It may be pre wired , but if not, that will be the hardest part - getting the wires back to the trailer plug. |
