hey im looking for a visor that comes on the new spec 1r extreme helmets but cant find them anywhere. they are called the "Ultra Tech Face Shield - Standard to the Extreme is a unique face shield incorporating a beautifully translucent Opalescent Iridium finish". anyone know of any dealers that might be able to find these? i cant find them anywhere online.

or Riverside is a dealer - thats the best part of owning a suomy spec1R - they come with those standard instead of just a clear shield - great in the rain or on a day that isnt really cloudy as it offer some shading

i looked on the suomy site but cant find that specific shield. i can find all the iridium ones but i already got one of those.

glad to hear you like the shield, i wish my helmet came with it instead of the clear. do you know what the price on that shield is?

Denno: does it offer much to block out the sun on the sunny days? and do you ride with it at night? looks like the perfect day and night visor.

i have a suomy mirror tint (darkest), dark smoke (medium) and an anti reflex visor (low)

i wouldn't use it for like the sunniest day but i have very wimpy eyse when it comes to sun - no joke - my eyes water really fast! this is a great visor becaus it is grseat at night, rain or on a cloudy day/ partly cloudy day

unless you have pusy eyes like me it is perfect
