Alpinestar just sent me over a new set of boots and I must say I'm rather impressed. I've been running a set of $75 Alpinestar SMX-3's that I bought off Craigslist since 2005... so needless to say a 'tip top tommy' style boot is a bit foreign to me.

However, whooo, these Supertech R's are the mutt's nuts mate! Super nice construction, uber-comfy, and look the bullocks! I decided to go with the ultra-flash "GP-Print" which feature the outlines of all of the GP tracks on a white background. Leopard print style if you will..

Can't wait to try these babies out on the track in two weeks. Thanks A-stars!



PS: Got my GP-Tech's a few weeks back and nothing but praise for them as well. Such a nice nice glove.

I've been kinda eying the Supertechs, too but I'm also considering the Puma's.

We have the Puma's here at work. You know the Ducati Puma ones. I dunno, I wouldn't recommend them. They are pretty damn heavy and feel sort of chitzy. The Supertech's seem like a overall far better boot.

I have had three pairs of A'stars Boots, Supertechs Zipper broke on a street ride when they had about 200 miles on them(never raced) SMX+ That were my race boots last year Zipper broke Second weekend Duct taped the on for the rest of the season (really no biggie as the have the inner booty lace thing) And my old SMX4 That I got for $100 brand new from motostrano crashed well no issues.

I like the boots comfy on my feet Protec well, Just those damm cheap ass Zippers kill me (the supertechs were fixed under warranty) the SMX + with be fixed and for the street

Cant wait to hear how these do, I tried to get a friend to get a pair for his new boots this season but he passed. I do wish that the tracks look more like tracks and not bad camo.

pete, riverside in somerville has the puma boots on display if u wanna check them out in person. duey said they're comftorable, but they looked really bulky to me.

I got some new Alpinestars gear tonight.
Amanda got a full setup with jacket, boots, gloves, and leather pants (street style)
I got myself this Supermoto suit and a few new T's.



BOOM!!

All set for Supermoto racing in May at Sear's Point. Fucking suit is illlllll. Lighter weight and much more flexiblity than a full-on roadracing suit.

And yes, I did some home and put on all of my gear and walk around the house like a stormtrooper.
