    So Yamaha came from Pianos

Suzuki came from a Cotton Gin <--(my favorite haha)
PS- no talk of the busa?!?! kawi's got credit for the zx14 though?

Ducati came from Radio components then got blown up by germany haha.

Honda came from the backyard mechanic guy who won the world cup

Kawasaki was the kid in high school that did everything, and no one knew who he was until he shot everyone up in the school. Or... made parts for everything, and was sick of not being known, so they made bikes to get their name known.
PS- awesome tid bit here: If a kawasaki assembler picks up the wrong wrench, the entire assembly line shuts down. OWNED! FOR KAWASAKI!!!!!

Bimoto: Came from a heating and Air conditioning company lol One guy crashed his bike, and built a frame out of heating pipes. Bam, new bike

bmw: came from air craft engines.
