Took me a year until I started riding with some guys who were much better than I and gave me some pointers on body position etc.

I probably would have crashed by now if it wasnt for those guys.

I had kinda the same experience but the guys i rode with were squids and I was the responsiable one.

Agree 1000000%, I still have relatively large chicken strips... course I've only had the tires for about 500 miles (mostly commuting on the highway), but I would rather get flamed for strips than try to be cool and get into an accident that was my fault because I was trying to go over my abilities
