I don't know how you city guys deal with having a motorcycle.

Last night as the sun was getting low I took off with my girl and put on about 70 miles around the lake, over the hills, past the fields...

I might go crazy if I lived in the city.

Why does everyone think Ducati's are posing bikes? I'm really not in the posing loop so-to-speak???? Do the Triumph posers get upset when the Ducati's take over their sidewalk or summthin?

lol it's got nothin to do with any triumph vs ducati vs anything for that matter. it's that ducati ego. you got it bad baby

all tryin to play it off with all that "posing is gay", "I hate posers" mombo jumbo.

nice try!!!! i see right through it. it's like a cry for help!!!

I love when I hear people say Ducati people have ego's...The last time I heard that, it was from Hesogood on a thread about 7 months ago, I think people who have low self esteem say that.
I've always had an ego and the Ducati has nothing to do with it. Hell, I was a pompous ass when I owned my 95 GSXR1100 ten years ago....nope, I think the real issue is people are jelous of Ducati owners. I don't know why. Before I owned one I never really gave much thought to the type personality that drives em, I've just always complimented the folks I've seen on them and have never once had someone thumb their nose at me because I was on a jap bike....

Maybe it's the neighborhood you hang out in or something....dunno

See, we both have our minds changed by random people telling me what I should think. No more posing for you, and I firmly believe tibet should be free cause of what those bicycle people told me the other day.

FREE TIBET!

If nothing else, knowing that I saved one person from looking like a total shmuck out on Newbury, made this thread all worthwhile...

this time I will defend daytrader on this one. he has given me compliments on my GXSR, despite every other NESR's opinion about it. He doesnt have the stereotypical "duc ego".

EDIT: dont get used to it daytrader, you're still a for the damper thread

Re: Bikes on Newbury St.

theirry please lose the ballsack and ass pic in the other thread. some of us browse nesr at work...

this is my serious face :/

and yea... that might be the gayest thing i've ever seen. supposedly prancing around a fire exposing yourself in someones backyard is cooler than hanging around newbury looking for women?? riiiight....

i'll get my cool meter and we'll settle this once and for all.

so which one of you was able to fit the most fingers in his ass? or was it not that kind of party?? it's hard to tell with you guys sometimes....

kham's right. *crickets*

you adapt to the city. there are times when i don't mind riding in the city, and there are times when i absolutely hate it. depends on traffic and the moods of the surrounding drivers i guess...

teaches you to be pretty damn observant; noticing uncertainties ahead of time and approaching them with caution. i actually think i'm a better rider outside of the city because of it; trying to be more observant and all.

probably only 10-15% of my riding is in the city, though i'm sure there are some that pose around the city 100% of the time. noone from here that i know of though. nothing wrong with stopping by once in a while. always good times and good people...
