I hang out on newbury st, but I havent seen many bikes out yet. And I think newbury is where the trendy trash hang out, lansdowne is definitely eurotrash. I think the cool kids hang out at Waterworks.

Rodney< I understand you're new here but let me bring you up to speed. This is NESR...here at NESR we don't sit on Newbury street, we actually ride our motorcycles good and hard.........

You've now been brought up to speed........SBN is about three doors down, you might want to check with them who's sitting on Newbury street..

Why can't we do both? Ride hard during the day... and then hang out and pose at night? It's not like you can really hit the twisties hard in the dark.

funny, i've seen more Duc's on newbury than any other bike. i suppose the jap bike owners are actually riding their bikes instead of trying to bang the college chicks walking around there at night.

Posing is fun. My favorite one is while posing someone with the same bike as yours comes up to you and asks if you like it. I usually say "No I hate this fuckin thing I should have bought a Harley"

hahaha +1 Pittenger. Give me a call the next time you go posing on Newbury St, I'll join you. Afterall, I am in the market for college girls I got some good poser practicing in up at Hampton Beach a couple years ago, so it shouldn't be too much to knock the rust off and pick it right up again.

Thisll be the first summer since Ive started riding that I wont be in school, so Ill be out there every nice weekday night, and most weekend night. Especially since I can hardly see more than 10 feet in front of me at night, twisties arent much fun at that point.

Re: Bikes on Newbury St.

Dude posing is awesome. In Boston I'd pose on Lansdowne and here in the Bay we all get in our full race get-up, hit the twisties, then stand around Alice's posing. "ooo see those kneepucks, yea that dude has race tyres, wow 2-stroke racebike"

Honestly I liked posing on Lansdowne better. More crazyweirdshitandchicks!

Re: Bikes on Newbury St.

i thought i might get flamed for posting something about bikes on newbury st. but since i live right on newbury (a shithole in case ur thinking of flaming me for that too) hopefully its ok with everyone if i ride there.

Seems like its a good place to meet up for rides though. I notice most people just meet up for a short time. Since my window looksright onto the street I get to see everyone riding by. Today I saw someone lane split between a paddy wagon (police truck) and a parked car .. anyone care to take responsibility? haha.

Re: Bikes on Newbury St.

There is Nothing Wrong with Posing, You ride during the day Then Pose at night. I live a mile from newbury, I dont ride Hard at night, I dont go to Bars. or clubs or smoke weed in a basement somewhere at night. I hang With my friends and Talk about bikes. I have have met some very cool people posing on Newbury. IE I first met Zev on Newbury, he Helped Me get into racing and taught me alot about this sport, Throuh him I met SMF then the whole Turn 1A crew who are are some of my Favorite NESR/ LRRS people. I also Met Dollar bill AKA Pittenger 5 on Newbury and He is one of my Best friends.

Its funny most people who will give you shit about posing will spend Most friday and saturday night Nights on NESR talking about Farts.

Re: Bikes on Newbury St.

WOW, I'm impressed...err....ahh....or should I say unimpressed with all the NESERIANS posing around here. I just always thought motorcycles were for riding. No offense fella's but I always thought guys hanging out on their bikes in any downtown area, were fucking tools! Do you really think women are impressed cause you're sitting there on your motorcycle? Do you think women are going to throw themselves at you when they walk by cause they're so impressed and turned on?
Make no mistake, guys posing on bikes trying to pick up chics walking by equals one thing..........YOU GOT NO GAME! Non-posers are inside hooking them in, getting digits while the posers are outside waiting for the women to throw themselves at them, ain't gonna happen). Hanging out drinking a coffee for a little bit after or during or before a ride is fine but to sit there on a street corner all night, getting on your bikes and ripping up the strip for a quick blast (so all the women can see you) then coming back to that street corner........GAY! If that's you I have some advice, get yourself some nice threads, keep the bike at home, pay the 20 dollar cover charge and learn how to approach a women in a nightclub......Worked for me. That's how I met Mrs Naked....

Yes yes I know, I sound like I think I'm the shit............You are correct, I am....
