I got this tonight while filling up. I just said yes, too tired to explain it to the guy.

Re: Rider Labels

I think that even though not everyone would want to buy one, ZX-7R's get alot or props from other riders and everyone likes them. I guess it takes a special type of person to put $1000 into a $3000 bike and have it still be worth $3000. thats LOVE! lol

I doubt it will equal out, at least not with Yamaha. Yamaha is the smallest of the big 4 and doesn't pump out the production numbers as the others. Maybe that's why the quality and fit&finish is so awesome?

I do agree about the cheaper price though...why do you think the F-150 is the best selling truck for 30 years? It certainly aint because of it's quality

Found On Road Dead?
that's for damned sure...

I think Yamaha's popularity is increasing exponentially now tho. I keep seeing tons of newer R1's on the road... of course I love it, because I get to wave to 'em and my buddy just sulks as he passes them on his '07 ZX-10R because he knows he's inferior

And they are very good looking too. This is not my opinion. It is the opinion of hot chicks around the world. I am but the bearer of the message.

BMW GS guys: Watch the Discovery Channel
Any Euro sport bike owner: Fashion victim, poser. Can't speak Italian but uses Italian sounding words. Basically, a Eurotrash Harley guy.
Any Japanese sport bike owner: Organ Doaner
Any Japanese standard ower: Boring, cheap. Eats at Applebee's and does not tip.
Harley Guys: Go to a Mike Huckabee rally to get Chuck Norris' autograph, have a Chinese made Confederate flag in their den now that their wife left them.
Metric Cruiser: Wife has not left them.... yet.
Anyone whos leather's match their bike: Learned everything they needed to know in Kindergarten.
Duel Sport: Single... and trying waaaaaaay to hard.
Triumph owners: Weird, lonely. Who will hang with them? Too lame for the R1s of the world and too cheap for the Continental bikes.
Gold Wingers: Old.
BMW Crusiers: Shunned by all.
