Exhaust/Tuning Question


I just bought a shorty pipe for my CBR 600 f4i, Where can i get my biked tuned, or my pcu updated? and if i dont will i hurt my bike?
Thanks alot...

its not going to hurt the bike, but theres a good chance that you wont be making as much power or torque. its worth the tune.

do you have a PCIII in your bike already? if so, just download the map off their website

Get a pc3 and have it dyno tuned its the only way to get it perfect.

Best to get a PCIII from ebay or directly from there site?

ok CBR guy, you're new. DynoJet PCIII's can be bought anywhere really. online, dealerships, or catalogs. I just picked up a used one on eBay 2 weeks ago for $175. They sell for $365 new. I know solomotoparts.com sells them new for $265 with free shipping. Make sure you buy DynoJet and not K&N power commander. I dont know anything about their new EX model, but it just seems like it's the same as the regular version but you cant change the data on the maps
