Kanc![]() To all you Kanc riders....Please be very careful riding the lower sections, particularly between the Lincoln Woods Trailhead up to Otter Rocks. I have been seeing several moose in that area, a couple of which are youngins and, as we all know, they are so fuckin stupid it's unbelievable. They have been out at all hours. I took the photo below at 1030 in the morning on 4/25 pretty much at the "Moose Crossing next 2 miles" sign just after the Lincoln Woods Trailhead. Don't think that because it's midday you wont see them. I saw a big male around 1 in the afternoon by Big Rock Campground. I don't want to be picking up your remains and calling your family. Thank you. ![]() |

Re: KancThey sure do love the salt residue along side the roads in the spring time. Moose are just animals, they dunno any better...the real stupid ones are the pinheads that pull over, block the road then are dumb enough to try to feed them / get closer. Ahh can't wait for touristy season. |

Re: KancAt least a half-dozen moose collisions reported Article Date: Tuesday, May 20, 2008 TWIN MOUNTAIN, N.H. (AP) _ Just last week, Fish and Game warned New Hampshire drivers that moose were on the move, and likely to wander onto roads. That's certainly happening in the northern part of the state, where state police reported they responded to at least six moose collisions during the week. No one was hurt in the crashes in Jefferson, Woodstock, Green's Grant, Warren, Randolph and Lincoln. Local police reported other collisions, including one in Lancaster on Thursday when a town police officer rounded a curve and hit a moose with his cruiser. The officer wasn't hurt, and the moose rolled over, got up and walked away. |

Re: Kanc I don't know how, but posting up to warn us about moose danger must be some sneaky trick to write (asian) motorcyclists more tickets and spoil their fun. Because that's all you cocksuckers do. Don't think we're not onto your cocksuckingness, because I assure you we are you sockcucking cocksucker. |

Re: KancOn another note. I just came from an insane moose accident between X32 and X31 southbound on 93. I will post pics tomorrow cause it's the most insane wreck I've ever seen. How this guy is alive I will never know. I'm not a "believer" but this guy had someone looking over his shoulder. When I post the pics you'll understand. I couldn't see through the pass side window there was so much blood. There were pieces of moose, football sized inside pieces, all over the place - including on the drivers side floor!!!!!!! He split the moose in half - you'll see some pics. AMAZING. Then I went up the Kanc a little ways to Otter Rocks area to see how many moose I saw there. 3, including the mosterous bull that's been hanging around. Here he is from 2 weeks ago (not zoomed in): ![]() ![]() ![]() His rack has grown significantly in the last couple of weeks. (I've been out of work for medical reasons, tonight is my first night back) I'll try to get a pics tonight but my camera's flash isn't that great so it's hard at night. |

Re: KancThats a big fellow. Not sure where otter rocks is, but I've been from the lincoln side up to the top before the kanc starts to decend a few times this year and I have yet to see any swamp donkeys out there. Sounds like a pretty nasty wreck you're talking about. |
