    I would have been commuting home when and where this happened, but errands too me another way.

    Anybody know who it might be?

    His name is Jarod. He only posted on here once. speedthree. Still trying to find out what happened news 3 says a car hit him and the recorder says he just crashed. Oh the bike is an 07 speed triple.

    Sorry to read that in the paper this morning. That's a nasty corner if you aren't used to it. S-curve and the second part is decreasing radius. The whole thing is blind.

    I was headed down 116 yesterday afternoon about 5:15 and saw the police and ambulance in full emergency mode headed towards the scene.

    My condolences to his family. Such a waste.

    holy fuck, i know him . never rode with him, but i'd been asking to ride w/ his group a few times in the past 3 weeks or so, and i just spoke to him on the phone this passed sunday...

    My heart and soul goes out to Jarrod's friends and family. I cannot begin to express what emotions a fellow rider lost provokes in me, especially since I almost lost my life a month ago to the same passion. May you rest in peace Jarrod, and may you ride peacefully in Heaven.

    Aaron (spicy) just sent me the link a few minutes ago, and it almost brought me to tears, I have begun to question why I should get to live through my accident while others are taken away. It amazes me how we all share one passion, and though some pay dearly for it, we keep on riding. Everyone, please be safe out there, I don't want to lose another friend.
