Re: Superdave, Stoneman, KenC... Old schoolers

Hey Doc!

It was me (Eric Rohver) at bike night last Tuesday. I was hoping to meet up with some long lost pals, and I did!!! I also met a great new group, and I look forward to riding with you guys again in a few weeks.

Stoneman, SuperDave, John & Penny, Sean & Helen Byran, etc. It's good to see some of you are still around!

Perhaps you old timers remember my old ride:

This is how I roll these days:

I remember that ride. Jon's pants saved him and the bike came out of it with minor lever/peg damage right?

I miss the two day VT rides!

I followed Jon a lot of times, one weekend he was renting a bmw to give it a good test ride, the bike had modulating brake lites I found myself target dixating on them and following his lines, even when they went off the road and onto the shoulder

I made one day of the 2 day ride, Jon asked me to ride sweep for him cause he could see my stitch a half mile away in his rear view but I didn't know it was the fast group didn't we go flying by 3 LEOs in a pull off going up Brandon Gap

Chimin in,

I saw the Stoneman out on the thread, the man who welcomed me ona couple rides to camp. One musta had thirty some bike. Lots of fun. I remember deep in the hills on a chopped up left hander, flat through the appex. Bouncin the beast all over. Thought I might be bailin but muscled it through the makit or breakit spot. Still don't know if ride behind me noticed.

Actually, this was the crash where he broke a piece off his frame and had to make it a salvage bike, thus the Junkyard Dog moniker.

I'm still a pasty white melanoma-boy...with a hot wife. I've reproduced since we've last met, so I've been busy with my stunt-man in training.

I miss the Stonerstock all night parties & the wakeup cannon.
