HJC Helmet fans...

Newenough has the AC-12 Yikes III on closeout for $89-99 bucks (not many sizes left). So if you have an XS, XL, or XXL dome and don't mind the available colors snag an awesome deal! The helmet is still selling on other sites for $279!

I just bought the flat red/silver/black XL for $89 (which they have 15+ still in stock for you XL people). I'm pretty pleased

Who cares if you need it? For $89 it's worth having a spare kicking around. I don't really need it, but I figured for $89 I'll make that my new helmet and use my three year old CL-SP as the backup.

When you crash and have to drop almost $300 on a new one you'll wish you had "needed another" now...

New Enough is pretty sweet, but they do seem to be frequently missing only the size I want.

Shell size for the XS is the same as S, M, and L I believe. You could buy an XS and then purchase new liners in your size.

I did just that for my CL-SP when I got a brand new one for free with my bike but wrong size.

Do you get cramps?

I'm looking at getting the AC-12 for my first helmet, not a bad investment for $80.

Well, I have an XL Yikes that I got off eBay. Here's what you do...

Buy the XL from NewEnough and then get the Large cheekpads and crown pad. Both helmets use the same sized outer shell, but use different padding.

You can get the padding for about $50 if you look around. SO a $300 helmet for $150. Still a great deal.

They say women will gladly buy something they don't need if it's half price, men will gladly pay double for something they need...

I aleady have a spare, a perfectly functional (and lots more expensive) Shoei. I just prefer the HJC for comfort, build quality, features, and venting.

They've been running this sale since last November, back then there were quite a few more color/size choices.

I love the "Bad Larry" phrase. I've only heard a handful of people ever use that.
