Umm yeah I think Ill pass

So I have my track bike forsale. Some dude calls me to ask if he can buy just the title for it from me. Umm if you have the title to my bike in your name...its now your bike! He claims he has a bike with no title and no bill of sale and wants to register it. So he wants to buy my title so he can register his bike? But its ok cause with my bill of sale I can get another duplicate of it for my own bike. Sure buddy no problem!

How much did he want to buy the title for? $3000? Or was it some stupid low amount?

don't worry hammer, he wasn't trying to steal your bike. he already has a stolen bike of that exact model. just needs a title so he can change the vin and register it.

Yeah the weird thing that I just realized is he knew my name when he called me but I didn't put it in the ad! I guess he could have looked it up on the lrrs website using my race number (since my number is in the pic), or its one of you assholes fucking with me

did you list your home phone as the contact # in the ad? Maybe he googled the phone number and got your name. If that is the case, he probably has your address as well
