I don't know why it's smaller but I am an old fart and I think it sucks. I could give a shit about 300,000 Harley riding poseurs. You ask 100 of these pseudo knuckle draggers what they think of the races and they shrug their shoulders and have no clue what you're talking about. And this whole Bike week USED to be about the racing.

I usually go up for the races but having seen the scene at the Weirs once I feel no need to see it again.

And if the youngsters do make it their own I don't think it will be any better. Instead of a bunch of Harley poseurs you have a bunch of Busa and Gixxer poseur either showing off their own brand of bling or terrorizing the public with irresponsible stunting...

bike week no longer has anything to do with real bikes, the economy sucks and the weather usually blows. if i just want to get shit faced and people watch there much better places to do it.

Motorcycles are motorcycles, I do the Weirs to shop. Shoot the shit we had a good time @ Weirs this year. Denno on the wheelie POS was some funny shit. I get ta see lots of guys once a year hang out. Even Josh Wife & Baby!!! Mark TLR man!!! Guys that its been years. When we sit around the fire you may just piss yourself.

I am sorry I did not make it to Weirs this year. My Dad has been going since before I was born. I went 6 years straight with my Dad back in the 90's. Good times.

I think the moving it and scheduling problems made it smaller this year. Hopefully it will be back strong next year.

As for Wiers / laconia, crowds and traffic don't interest me too much.
