Getting cursed out by another rider (a lousy rider)

Well, I'm in my cage tonight (as I usually am these days) in Medford Square in the middle lane of a 3 lane road at a light. The left two lanes are turn left (edited), the middle is also straight and the right is, well, right turn.

This dude in a 9,000lb. H-D comes up next to me on the left. Light turns green and we both turn left, except that he can't turn the damn bike and goes right into my lane, nearly hitting my front bumper. Can you guess who Mr. HOG blames? Starts cursing at me and shaking his head. I tried to "politely" tell him that he drifted and that there are in fact two lanes, but he was having no part of it. Of course, we couldn't hear what the hell either of us was saying anyway.

Moral of the story: guys riding big-ass bikes need two lanes to turn. And they're always right.

I don't know why I find that story so funny. I think its the arrogance of the HD rider. I get lectured by them all of the time for having a non-Harley brand bike.

Not sure how that all works but it sounds to me like the HD guy was fine...

Another douche canoe HD rider. It would have been sweet if you were on your bike, then I'm sure he would have sung a different tune. Actually, he probably wouldn't have.

If he wasn't on a Harley the story wouldn't be as good, don't you know that.

It's always a good laugh to see a bad ass biker wanna be not able to negotiate a turn. Hey atleast you look cool.

you got it, bud. you got it.

as aggravating as it was arguing with another biker there was also the factor. he was baaaaaaaaad-ass alright, except for the fact that he couldn't ride the damn thing.

It's not only that but, in general, of the least-skilled riders on the planet, and out of all the conversations I've had with other riders over the years, what brand do you think comes up the most as far as what the shittiest riders on the planet prefer?

Fuck that, I told one of my sport bike "buddies" about counter steering when I was first learning how to ride. He had been riding for a while before me.

His response: "Sab, where do you come up with this shit?"

Old point, but still a good one: there are idiots on everything.
