Now that I'm back on the road, I need a jacket/pant combo for motarding to work and general shenanagins. I'm thinking textile or textile/leather combo.

I would like some pants that are like a combo of cargo and MX pants with knee/hip armour

Where do I start?

Dont know what level of protection you are looking at, Paul,
but I think these pants rock...I wear them to work.

But due to the weak dollar they are pricey...
But they are kevlar lined, comfortable and look good enough for
wearing at work and they accept velcro knee pads

check out the Thor, Troy Lee Designs or Vanson sumo stuff. beware the Thor pants run small.

along the cheaper lines... i love my TLD Explorer pants with guards underneath. theyre over-the-boot style, super comfy and great in all weather. just not as crash-worthy as leather of course.

For jacket, I love my Tour Master Cortech Advanced 3/4. I wear it street year round and woods riding during the colder months.

Ive got a revit jacket/pants combo and its great. very happy with the quality. Its a textile with some armour zip in rain and zip in liners.
