That was an awesome race even though I don't like Rossi. I hate the CBS announcers even more. At one point the guy was explaining what the clutch lever did, give me a fucking break.

they reminded me of the announcers from "dodge ball". only, not in a funny way...more of a sad way.

It's doomed in America

Only 45 minutes and only 2 interesting minutes

We need a rollerball version

I was surprised that Stonner didn't keep it up in the dirt

Re: Valentino Rossi Ultimate pass

I think he was too! The front end of a sportbike is quite unpredictable in deep, soft sand...

Re: Valentino Rossi Ultimate pass

it wasn't a pass in the dirt as the poster depicts... he was already in front. still crazy to keep it up at that speed with any lean angle at all.

you aint shittin...what an awesome battle!
I wish I would have saw the race...was anyone else there?
Stoner had time to drop it, pick it up, and cycle through the gears for 2nd (not that the last corner is that far away from the finish, but its still impressive)...too bad he went wide on the last lap!

and that Lorenzo highside is horrible...that's more hang time than Jordan...

Stoner was in 1st or 2nd when he dropped it. Turn 11 is the slowest corner on the track and wicked tight. He wouldn't have had to cycle thru the gears.

Inside of the Corkscrew (where Rossi went) is actually paved, just covered in layer of dirt and crap.

I kept running back and forth from my view of Turn 2, 3, 4, and 5 to the TV Monitors to see the rest of the track. Amazing race.

Re: Valentino Rossi Ultimate pass

That's nuts either way...

Rubbing is racing, too bad Stoner made the little "mistake" or this would have gone on for a little longer.

amazing!
