Garmin users: Getting google maps into my Zumo?

I've searched and searched, and all of the web-based tools that popped up for getting google maps into a garmin unit haven't worked for me. I suppose I could use the clunky Garmin software, but I really prefer Google's mapping options.

Does anyone on here have any suggestions?

Do a search on Zumoforums.com They know everything there.

There's GMapToGPX » Communications From Elsewhere

If you do the whole drag and drop the route thing in planning, if you click the "Get Directions", it'll change all the drops to via's and you can GPX it.

Mapsource should have no problem reading in a GPX file and uploading it to the zumo. Not sure how well it works, as I haven't actually loaded any routes into my zumo yet.

*edit* or Not. I just tried to do that with Nikon's ride on the 9th, and it bit the big one. It did work with a ride one of my friends planned though, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Yeah, I already tried that in IE7 and FFX3, no dice in either. I'll have to give it another go later.
