It says Suzuki has given a "first look" and it looks nothing like the other rumor pic floating around.

I'm guessing the conditions were less than ideal and or the photographer was a crack monkey....I'm guessing they will look much better in person / better pics. The blue scheme should be darker like mine, I would think.

The maroonish on black? that's horrendous.

Well... I'll know on Monday...

If that IS the new 1000... at least it slightly beats the current generation in the looks department...



And if the spec info I just found is accurate... HOLY SHIT!

Claimed 191 hp and 87 ft. lbs. of torque... (crank I'm sure)

and there are rumors on the SV boards that the gladius is potentially a replacement, but i don't believe it... i like the way the exhaust looks, though.

That folks, is the 2009 Suzuki produced brochure... Read that shit!

Monoblock calipers, lap timer, cartridge-less front forks, stacked transmission, CABLE CLUTCH (I knew that hydro POS wouldn't last)... the list goes on...

I have mixed feelings about the gladius.....I'm not sure I'm a fan.

When do you want me to prep your '09?
Few problems, while I do have the title in hand for the K7, I doubt I'd be able to sell it and turn enough coin to be able to easily buy the k9 without having to borrow $, which unfortuantely I won't do.

On another note...what are we talking about for a price tag?
I know you don't have that yet though...but it is a good start

However, I do have a friend with a destroyed K3 who will be in need of a K9. I just might be able to sell one for you if the price is right...it would have to be really good though to get him to come to CT instead of going 5 mins down the road from here to the local shop. I bought mine from them for 10.5 OTD. I know they still made coin on me, about a grand. Ooops, did I have an idea of what invoice on the K7 was?
