Dunlop 208 GP'sThey rock! Rock rock rock!!! I think they're my new full-time street tire! I slapped 'em on yesterday morning and took it out for a few hours. Funny, while running 207's I said on the TL list that 'I'm not going to change tires because if it got any more stable or handled better, I wouldn't know what to do'. Well, it's more stable and handles better, but I KNOW what to do! I'm going to staple some fucking velcro to my leathers if I have to and I'm going to go burn some plastic puck! Now if only Kiernan Racing would send me those damned patches. I guess I'll be sending them off to CA to have some sewn on, since waiting for Kiernan Racing is like waiting for Gilbert to put his shirt back on when he's been drinking tequila. ![]() Anyway, these tires kick absolute ass...I'll have more to say about 'em once I put some more miles on (barely scrubbed 'em yesterday). |

Dunlop 208 GP'sOk...first downside report to these tires.... It MAY be that my chain is too tight (which it is), but I get some silly levels of headshake under heavy power if I'm not really careful. I'll try again after loosening the chain and see if that was it. These tires are quite a bit narrower than the zr's...so I'm hoping it's just the chain, cuz I luuurrrve these tires. ![]() |

Dunlop 208 GP'sThe SV sucks. Bright (and very dirty) aerostich's suck. Leather saddle bags on sportbikes suck. And most of all, scottoilers suck. ![]() Isn't it nice when people slam someone's personal preference unprovoked? Sweet shit, I say, sweet shit! ![]() |

Dunlop 208 GP'sThe price you pay for running race tires. My bikes always did that when I mounted 207GPs. It's wierd though; when I recently mounted 208's to my R1 the headshake I had with the 207GPs completely went away -- the thing is dead stable now. One thing to check is the balance of the rear wheel -- if it's off it will lead to wobbles. A front out of balance will just give you vibration... |

Dunlop 208 GP'syea, SV's suck, but their cheap enough to use as a beater bike.... Actually I may try out some 207's someday although I am really happy with the Azaro II's, the front has an exceptional profile that plants itself in corners and very stabile at high speeds (I know high speed by SV standards isn't high speed by TL stanmdards) but 205's certainly suck |

Dunlop 208 GP'sI wuz just fishin' anyway Randy. I like sv's. ![]() And thanks for the info Paul...I'll check the balance this week...the front was dead on but I didn't check the rear. Plus, my chain being too tight has alot to do with it I'm sure....the TL is very sensitive to a tight chain. |

Dunlop 208 GP'sOh yeah Randy, and obviously I highly recommend the 207's. I've loved them for almost 50k miles now! |
