I love it when you're in a log jam of traffic and people make that motion while you're sitting there next to 'em. Not that you're really not even moving or anything...duhhhh...

stupid cages... i was showing my roomate how to work a bike yesterday on christina's kanotuna, and i was following him around on the fiddy, not being too much of an asshole, just making sure he was ok with the bike.
then the cops pull up ready to yell a lot and accuse of him of being a hooligan.. someone called in and complained that he was racing up and down the street. ... it was his first time on a bike. day 1 with his permit. cop was cool though, after he collected the facts, he just said keep it safe and practice as much as posssible before dealing with cars aon streets that actually have traffic.


i think the ones that called are the ones that flew around the corner by the end of the street WAY TOO FAST and had to use their brakes (oh god forbid) so they didn't rear end him.

and i swear i wasn't doing wheelies with the fiddy on the sidewalks.
