Has anyone purchased any of the faring sets off Ebay from Hong Kong?

No but from what I've read auctmart1 or (may be an s before the 1) has the best fitting ones.

I just checked it out they dont have anything for a Ducati. I was looking for some for a 749

Yup, I have a set thru Auctmarts, they are the 3 gen ones. For the money they are not bad at all. Fitment is good, lines are close but not OEM. They use post instead of the injection molded tabs as oem's have. I also used a good amount of oem stuff with the knock off to get the best fit. So all in all they Good....Here is a pic...or if you want to see them in person gimme a shout...

my buddy has a set on his f4i. The fitment is good but not great. They take some fussing around and you may have to drill a few new mounting points through the fairings themselves to get them to line up right. For the money they can't be beat though.

I have a set for my 916. Fitment is ok... took some work to get them mounted, but some people here have seen them.

I think they look good from 5-10 feet away. Even up close they looked ok... most of the ugly stuff was covered up by the way the body panels overlapped.
