Yes the stearing was locked, but i did not have a chain on it.
I live on a dead-end road, not much traffic.I was parked out around back of my place under a over hang.

A moderator at gixxer.com (rayder) had his rig stolen. He happened to be scanning e-bay when parts appeared exactly like his bike. He inquired, acted real honest and nieve, asked to see the goods, confirmed they were his, did not let on to the thieves, called in the cops and busted the whole ring wide open. He got his stuff back, in pieces. She was stripped and being parted out with a snot load of other's bikes.

Only had it a few days? Parked on a dead end street out of sight around the garage? Sounds like a person near you, familliar with your habits and timing.
