Cheryl was just offered a really good job after years of bustin her ass in school. And she knows how much I've wanted to make this move...

Yeah, the job offer is sweet. She'll be more than doubling what she's makin' now, plus she gets some bennie's she wasn't getting at her current job. I'm very happy for her..

The dude at the dealership really went to bat for me today, but the boss said no. Actually, the salesman warned me that the boss was in a bad mood before he even showed him my offer....

Once it was refused, I reminded Boss Man that he's sold SEVEN used VTR's this spring, and the TL-R is still sitting there. That fucker got pissed and told the salesman to go knock $1000 off it!! Right in front of me!! Then he looked at me and said, "there, now we'll have no problems selling it.."

Needless to say, unless they're giving out blowjobs with bikes I'll NEVER give 'em ANY business again...

Nah. Believe it or not, it was Nault's in Manchester (NH). I know a lot of people that have had great experiences with them too. It seems that since they got the rights to Ducati, they've gotten a little big for their collective britches....

Fuck 'em! I'm gonna sell the VTR, get a TL-R, then go tell 'em to suck my ballz!!

What the fuck is goin' on here?? A few months ago, they couldn't give TL-R's away. Now I can't find a '01 at any local dealer!!

I'm gonna hafta borrow a coupla grand for the one I want (Y2K), and rates right now for a used bike are downright fuckin' silly! The best I've found is 13.5%, and I have an impecible credit history....

It's because people are beginning to realize that if they forget what the magazine says, and THEY ride the TLR, it's AWESOME! People get too caught up in what the mags have to say...which is why the TL got such a bad rap right from the start. I rode Mike's R1, and it was sweet...don't get me wrong, but getting back on the TL made me smile from ear to ear.

I was reading this for the life of me trying to figure out why he was buying a TLR in the dealership...then I finally looked at the date.
