A friend and I are probably doing a road trip at the end of this week to look at motorcycle lifts. Does anyone have opinions on Titan, Quality, Handy, Direct, or Atlas lifts?
There are a couple of places in NH we are going. NHProEquipement in Bow and Greg Smith Equipment in Hudson. Any feedback on either one of those places?

I have an EazyRizer I bought at ROKON in Rochester, NH , not sure if they have anymore, they don't list them on their website anymore, I got a smokin deal, less than half of retail and included all the optional mounting brackets that are nomally not included
it has some advantages over a table lift, but also disadvantages, biggest one being you don't have a table to lay your tools & parts on, on the otherhand, you can stand right up close to the bike
Rokon uses them as a manufacturing platform

Some of my comments in an old thread; I have the HD Handy Industries one.
[edit] In reading it, i have no idea why i stressed tie down points...I rarely use them. But the extensions are useful for other equipment like tractors and atv's. Handy has a new model w/ a drop/hinged front...neat idea.

Trouble,
If you are mainly doing sport bikes than pretty much anything will work for you. Used Handy lifts our pretty easy to find. The only thing that really goes wrong with them is the air cylinder seals start leaking. Not a big deal, new seal kit and about a hour of your time and problem fixed.
I have a Ranger lift in my shop and has served me well. The main reason I went with it is it has a wheel drop out slot. That makes tire changes on bikes with large real fenders much nicer. When I build the new shop next fall and need to add another lift I will go with a K&L lift. Two main reason for there lift, one is front and rear wheel drop outs. No more trying to push HD full dressers up on the lift back wards by myself, second, the attachments they make specific for there lifts are nice. They are not cheap lifts and is probably way more than what you need but I can get them if you were interested.
A couple of things to consider with lifts, gage of metal they make the tops out of, get the roll in style wheel chuck instead of the clamp (much easier to use by yourself instead of trying to hold the bike upright while screwing in the clamp), over all table size. Now a lot of this isn't a big deal with small light weight sport bikes, but more of a convince.
I have a Air over Hydraulic Rated for 1200lbs I bought from Harbor freight I have had for the past 3 years I paid 399 at the time I have used it for the Goldwings the Hayabusa both Victory's B King and the Ducati lots of times. I will be the first to tell you if I was running a Professional Shop I would go further up scale. That said for a Home User / Tinker guy like me it has been great. I am not shure where in VT you are but if you find yourself Near Brattlebor shoote me note and stop over and see the thing if you like.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
nh, I appreciate the offer. I'm up north but I'll let you know if something comes up and I'm in the neighborhood.

I have a Handy and it has worked well for Alot of years but I like the Snap-on mid rise scissor lift the best for bikes which can also double for cars. The problem is they are about a grand on eBay for a good used one.
A grand for one that can double for cars? Sounds like a deal. I know Trouble has been looking at the $1500 Bike ones with Casters to move it around easier.
I think I might go CHEAP and get a Harbor Freight.

I just fuond out about Clark Heintz on forums and went to him about a week ago for a lift, he suggested titan for me. his website is nhproequip. I dont know much about greg smith but i see him in web searches a lot. i live in ma so getting a tax free lift was a big discount.
