Sooo....

I rode my dad's '03 Goldwing today. DAYUM is that thing nice! It is absolutely effortless to ride, and handles REALLY well for a huge bike like that. I dragged both my left and right feet through some corners

I can say, that one of those will be on my list of bikes to own in a few years down the road.

Was it REALLY comfy?
Even you don't make that bike look any smaller.

I see the backrest... did he have the highway pegs also?

With the pegs and backrest, there's like 4 or 5 different riding positions. If you switch between them while riding, you can ride for a full tank (200 miles) and get off without any soreness!

I threw my back out screwing around this weekend and still drove 2 hours on the wing!

As for ground clearance, I agree... but only for track days.

In general, i rarely touch down the peg feelers on the street except for real tight sections.

Yeah he has the highway platforms too...He's like me...he just can't leave it alone. At least Rachel can see where I get it from. It was REALLY weird getting back on my ZX-12 after just 5 minutes on the 'Wing.

I hear ya about going back to other bikes.

You should try going from the Wing to the TZ250!

The Gold Wing seems to have plenty of ground clearance when Tony is riding it!

Sooo....I rode a GoldWing!

I'm not sure if that's a dig against Josh or Me?

Against Josh cuz he weighs more?

Against me cuz I don't lean it?

If Tony is out there this trackday, and I'm passing him, I don't think I'm even gonna THINK about giving him the elbow! Like I'm gonna move THAT Tank!

Ahhhh... I see.

In that case, "thanks".

Actually, it was on the track that the lack of ground clearance showed up.

Fortunately, even while dragging pegs, the bike was rock solid.

While the 'wing will be present, I doubt it will go on track except to show people the line, etc.

Sooo....I rode a GoldWing!

I did 2 sessions alone and one with Renee.

I was just going to do the one session, but 8 laps was just a tease! I think I only touched down the peg feelers about 10 times in that first session.

By the second session, I was touching about 10 times PER LAP!

Not to mention I started to really hammer the ABS brakes... wish I had those on the TZ.
