2004 Kawasakis US Webpage

The long wait for the 2004 Kawasakis is over, they are now on the US webpage:

http://www.kawasaki.com/

ZX-10R and a few other surprises. If you have been thinking of buying a ZX12R, this would be the year. It comes in two great looking colors, my favorites.

Don't see the Z750 or whatever the 750cc version of the Z1000 was supposed to be. No ZX7R either. Other than the ZX-10, not much exciting seems to be going on at kawasaki.

The 12R's look sharp, I'm not too impressed with the other schemes kawi picked this year. The EX500 looks really dated with that white and orange pinstriping. EX250 is ugly in all three colors. And none of the ZX10's colors really do much for me. What happened to red, aren't sportbikes supposed to be red? The orange 10R looks like a pumpkin! Green's nice, but I liked the old 6R/9R schemes where they broke up the green with black or dark purple or a candy paint, too much solid green and it seems like an eyesore...

Maybe I'm just out of touch with what the cool cats wear....

On the other hand, I like the look of the 1600 vulcan mean streak in green, and the vulcan 2k in purple looks like it's going after the valkyrie rune for "most excessive" spot

250 Ninja's still sell very well. same with the 500.

ZXR-750's don't sell at all. The GSXR has the smackdown all over it for short money.

Whadddya mean "upgrade"?

There isn't a sportbike out there now that gives a rider confidence around turns like the 7R does... Not a single one.

who knows, 10R might be as confidence and you know you like to pop them front whenever you can so it's perfect for both. i think you should get rid of that other stang and have two bikes. keep 7R for twisties and 10R for wheelie and other fun stuff. that would be

I hope Kawasaki continues the ZRX1200 for 9 years. The ZRX1200 is designed to look retro, it was old-technology the day I bought it .

Kawasaki iced a lot of bikes: ZX-7R, ZX-9R, Vulcan 800 Drifter, Voyager XII, ZR-7S, Super Sherpa, KLX400R, and KLX400SR.

They only offered the KLX400SR (same as DRZ400S) for one year, how odd??
