What a perfect day. It would have been better if I didn't have bike problems. The weather was perfect, and a great group of people were there.

Thanks Leanangle

Great time. Nice to see the NESR folks there. Great to pit with Shortermemory (nice tool set up and extra chairs!).

I feel like I got my body position issues worked out.

My biggest jump in learning however came from a mistake. I came into turn 1 what I thought was way too hot (braking late to pass someone). I had one of those oh shit moments. Then I put it out of my mind, put my shoulder down where it should be, and came through the corner no problem (it was like my mind said "get it together a-hole"). After that it seemed like a lot of stuff just fell togther and my corners sped up.

Great day.

thats a great feeling isn't it? since day 1 i was told that if i feel like i'm going in too hot to JUST GO FOR IT! the worst possible outcome is a lowside, but without pushing your limits you'll never drop your laptimes and improve your ability.

i love it when i go into a turn faster than normal and make it through, then realize i "wow, so i CAN take that turn THAT fast....." and then i can do it from then on and BOOM, i'm even faster

Glad you had fun and improved!
