i would have to guess thats a no. making a track day a timed event gets into insurance issues.

now i you have one and someone happens to put out a beacon.... what can ya do

I would think there must be at least one beacon somewhere around the track. Some org do allow it like nesba and some don't but just thought I asked.

Guess we will have to wait and see what he says. I know if it was timed I wouldnt attend on my street bike because my insurance wouldnt pay out

Sorry for the delay guys....

The answer is "NO".

This is an insurance issue, and as stated above, a lap timer makes the event a "timed" event - which gives the insurance companies a loophole to not cover the event - which voids our contract with the track - which eliminates us from getting more dates - which......you get the picture.

Sorry, the answer is "NO".

If anyone asks you how fast you're going...tell them "Real Fast".

They'll believe you.
