Bike Nights ? ? ?

Is Lowell the only bike night of the week up here? I just moved here from the Philly/South Jersey area. Someone throw me a bone please.

Re: Bike Nights ? ? ?

do they get all crazy like and look down at people at Moto Mart if you show up on something other than a euro/british made? I like the looks and style of those bikes, but dont have one... and never been to a night over there. A friend of mine used to work there in HS and he rode a Superhawk... place seems kinda ritzy (sp?)

I've seen plenty of non Euro bikes show up and never noticed any animosity towards them....now show up on a Harley and that might be a different story

Just kidding around, I think there is zero to be concerned about....and you get to drool over all the Italian hardware you were too afraid to maintain.

Bangmas Farm
500 W Hartford Ave
Uxbridge, MA 01569-1176

25 miles from Providence, mostly up 146N. MapQuest says 35 minutes...which I believe is based on speed limits.

Only thing about Tuesdays: They mess with Suzy Q's bike night. Always good to have options for us Southern scum though!

Bike Night At Rendezvous in Uxbridge
(SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE WEBPAGE)

Doesn't look like many sport bikes get up there? ...wouldn't want to get up there and hear the faint sound of "dueling banjos" in the background...

If someone gets more details, please post up!

Re: Bike Nights ? ? ?

I live in Uxbridge, The Bike Night At Rendezvous in Uxbridge was starting to show some sport bikes in the crowd towards the end of the season.

bagma's is almost a waist of time in the begining of the season, But at the end it was actually picking up. I don't think alot f people know about it.

But then...WTF do I know?

Let's start turning the Uxbridge night into a bigger sport bike scene this year.

Re: Bike Nights ? ? ?

I've been to a gathering of two-wheeled motor vehicles in Acton before (not sure if it was said Euro/British night), but all the guys seemed to be really cool. Even guys that looked like they should be riding harley's because of age/dress were on aprilias or some sport bike, and they were all friendly and easy to talk to.

*this was back when I had the F4i too

I'd be down to try out a Thursday night in Acton sometime this year if anyone wants to join me for the ride from the Haverhill/Andover area.

Re: Bike Nights ? ? ?

It is definately MOSTLY hardlies..I mean harley's. The sport bike's were making a good presence towards the end of the season.

The roads in that area are pretty good, Some better than others (road conditions), But have some good twisties for the most part.

I went alot last year, Would stay a 1/2 hour or so and leave, ride the back roads and return to see if any other bikes had shown up....Not usually but sometimes there would be something to catch my eye.

I could Google a decent route for you out of towners to ride, It's not the draggon but will keep you occupied while down this way.

Bagma's is fun also, Not a ton of bikes usually, but has some good roads near them in the Douglas Forest area....

Re: Bike Nights ? ? ?

For the Techno Geeks, I could data log the route one day while running it, Save that file and post it up. A friend I ride with has a gps to do this easily enough.....

Re: Bike Nights ? ? ?

I was supposed to get a GPS last week but my Toyo decided to split both front springs (TRD shwag)...all new OEM'ers got me for a little under a grand.

So...it's all on you dude or...you and your buddy with the GPS.
