Nearly ready for VIR......NOT!

Mmmm, I love that bike. I still remember the ride I took on it. It was just begging me to enter the turns faster and faster until I was backing it in to the bowl and I thought, I'd better pull in or this will get out of hand! Especially since you use street shift. I can ride like that up to a certain pace, then my brain goes into race mode and that's it, I start shifting GP pattern. I'm trained like a dog...

Nearly ready for VIR......NOT!

I just finished my bike tonight @ 8:30PM, then packed all my riding gear including Back Protector and anything I thought I should bring, all packed in a tote for the trip! Only thing remaining to pack is clothes, bathroom junk, helmet, camera, sunglases & ?? Not much else...

Now I need to get the bike to Norwood tomorrow or Friday.

Derek, I did the Safety Wiring myself! So I am all set! Water for coolant and fresh Mich-CT2 sneakers for running the track are mounted up!

I changed the oil in both bikes, replaced the sparks plugs, safety wired everything, cleaned the air filters, and got the carbs running good.

Tomorrow is for packing and loading bikes in the truck.

Derek, what'd you do to that bike?! It was fully assembled when I was there last.

Let's see.

Changed oil and filter
Drained coolant, replaced with water
Safety wired
Removed shock and replaced spring
Removed forks and replaced springs
Removed wheels and replaced tires (switching to 180 rear from 190)
Replaced bad relay in headlight assembly that was causing no headlights

That's about it.

I was gonna say that garage is way too clean to be Degsy's, but I recognize the refrigerator.
