Local tracksI think it was $650 for three days at Calabogie, I don't know what the cabin cost. Other than that, it was the usuall stuff. It's a lot of track time, a twenty minute riders meeting in the morning then you ride 4 sesssions in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. |

louden is perfectly safe. just because the AMA won't even race there in the dry doesn't mean anything. i'm it's not like half the posters in the NESR pit area are walking around nursing broken bones or anything. |

Calabogie Motorsports Park The one in September is a two day, August is three days. The people I'm going with are talking about the September days, I'm going to try for August. Driving up there for two days isn't worth it, IMO. EDIT The TPM site says 2 days in September, Calabogie says 3 days. I think they're doing 3 days, it would be crazy for them to go up there for 2 days. I'll e-mail TPM. I would rather go in Sept. Threre's no shade and no paddock, and it was hot as hell up there last month. |

Local tracksppl sponsor the event and have the track rented out for the day...if you arent too far check out tony's or LAPS next trackday to see how things are run. |

Local tracksWell Im just looking at Tony's trackdays and Its not what Im looking for. I dont need a lunch provided to me and what not. I just want to hit the track myself. All these places I see are asking $250 for a trackday. I was paying $150 in Florida because the track was just for motorcycles and nobody had to rent it out. Im not really willing to shell out 250 unless its a school |

Local tracksHave you checked out NESBA? Typically cheaper than Loudon, but you have to pay like $70 to join the club and than the regular track fee (usually $140 to $180). They run at Pocono and Summit Point, closer than VIR.... but not as nice as VIR either. Go to NESBA : Northeast Sports Bike Association, the website is pretty good and can answer any questions you have. |

Local trackswell your not in FL anymore Toto. If you want to get onthe track cheap and turn a bunch of laps, take the penguin school, get a race license and run Friday practice. It's the cheapest track time you will find. Downside is.... its race practice, if you dont want to race or have the aspect of racing you may be uncomfortable there. If you want to turn a bunch of laps and like the controlled aspect of passing rules and instructors on the track, shell out the cash to Tony. One of the best track days out there. Bottom line, your not getting cheap track time run like a track day at Loudon. Have to name your poison. |
